Each customer’s Intelligent IR chatbot is trained exclusively on the information contained in the approved documents provided. This information sets and limits the “scope of knowledge” for the chatbot. Additionally, information from a specific URL can be included in the scope of knowledge. As a result, each customer’s chatbot will be able to accurately answer questions and provide analysis only within its scope of knowledge. It cannot answer or provide analysis outside its scope. For example, Intelligent IR chatbots cannot compare performance data within its scope of knowledge to a benchmark that is published somewhere publicly online. To do so, a customer may specify the details of a benchmark in its approved documents or provide a URL with the benchmark in order to include the benchmark in its training and scope of knowledge.

Intelligent IR can summarize and analyze financial data within its scope of knowledge. For example, if a customer has trained its chatbot with quarterly and annual reports from 2014 to 2024 then it can analyze year-over-year changes in performance for each quarter during this time period.

If asked, Intelligent IR can cite the source of information by title of document, page number and section.

We adhere to OpenAI's Data Usage Policy, which means that data submitted via their API is not used to train OpenAI models or improve OpenAI's service offerings. What is it?

Intelligent IR™ is an AI chat bot embedded on your investor relations site. It’s used to provide immediate response and answers to investor questions. For firms, Intelligent IR saves valuable resources, time, coordination and effort. For investors, it saves hours, sometimes days in response time by enabling investors to be able to quickly search, summarize and analyze performance information whenever they want and as much as they want.

What does it do?

Intelligent IR is trained and answers questions based on your firm’s predefined set of documents (i.e. scope of information) making it valuable for use cases that require reliable answers from controlled data sources. Such as investor relations where investors need answers based your firm’s approved filings, reports and documents.

Is it accurate?

Yes, your chatbot only responds using the documents you explicitly upload, allowing for exact control over responses providing absolute precision in answers from the data you approved. If the AI cannot find an answer to a question, it will say so. It either has the answer from its approved knowledge source or it doesn’t. Since your chatbot does not have access to the public internet or any other source of data, it cannot create an inaccurate answer from questionable information. How is this different than using publicly available GenAI like ChatGPT?

All the publicly available GenAIs uses the entire public internet as its scope of knowledge, which includes analysts opinions and all other non-approved, non-vetted information. They create answers based upon what they can search for and scrape from public sites. Therefore, their answers to investors questions will widely vary and may or may not be accurate and will have details missing from approved reports and filings.

At the moment the mainstream publicly available GenAIs cannot download reports and filings and they certainly do not have access to privately secured and stored financial and reporting data. Even if users downloaded all the filings, they would still need to process the PDFs into a machine readable format. After processing the data, users would need to create their own private and customized GenAI application to be able to train their AI on the machine processed data.

How is it different than Microsoft Copilots?

Microsoft Copilots are GenAI productivity tools for all internal users for work within all files in Microsoft Office 365 software. They are designed and sold as an Office add-on feature. The primary difference is Copilots are not customizable investor relations GenAI chatbots trained specifically and only on your approved financial reports and filings.
