County's tech accelerator program empowers A. l. entrepreneur

Toward the end of 2023, while a product design director at the software company Backstop, Dobbs Ferry resident Victor Chu imagined an artificial intelligence (A.I.) tool that would solve a persistent problem for the investment management firms he assisted. People working at the firms often complained that they spent too much time trying to find and share notes internally, or locate important information for their clients. "I knew that spreadsheets were a big problem because it's always extremely difficult to extract financial data out of a spreadsheet," recalled Chu.

The program will culminate with a Demo Day on November 21, 2024, where each participant will have the opportunity to pitch their venture to a room of investors, technology experts, press representatives, government officials, and other key contacts.
