I’m Victor Chu, founder of Advanced GP. In my previous roles, I served as a product leader at Backstop Solutions, an investment management software provider, and as an innovations director at JP Morgan Chase & Co.

I’ve worked closely with investment management teams and have spent many hours researching and observing how they work, taking the time to truly understand the unique challenges investment professionals face on a daily basis.

Investment management is really hard work and no one is helping to make it easier. That’s why I founded Advanced GP.

Investment management work involves deep research and intensive data analysis which is crippled by clunky, fragmented tools that bleeds time and life away from everyone. In addition to investing, there’s a whole other side of the business that manages demanding investors and their expectations for immediate responses to their requests. All of which calls for ultra efficient AI solutions. Just as AI applications development companies are not trained in investment management, most investment management firms are not suited to design and develop AI solutions in-house.
